Atlanta, GA-- Today, Women Engaged is pleased to announce a significant expansion to their senior leadership team. Women Engaged is thrilled to announce Selena H. McLaurin, MBA, MPP as Chief of Staff and Vice-President of Development, Michelle Wilson, MA as Vice President of Leadership Development & Movement Building Technologies, Mishara Davis, BA, as Vice-President of Political and Civic Engagement.

CEO and Executive Director, Malika Redmond, MA, released the following statement:

“We are at a critical point. A point where the skill sets of Selena, Michelle, and Mishara are required to meet the challenges of the moment. Selena’s experience exemplifies what Women Engaged needs to create meaningful impact throughout the nation. Michelle’s battle-tested successes working with Women Engaged over the years highlighted how critical it is to nurture and grow our ‘beloved community’ not only in Georgia, but across the nation. With Mishara bringing her political savvy from engaging voters on a national scale using data-driven strategies, we can work across boundaries and lines needed to fulfill our organization's mission: to support the power-building of Black women and young adults creating a world where compassionate, fact-based, equity-centered approaches are used to develop and implement public policy and actualize social transformation.
