Belly of the Beast, is a film that showcases the fight of formerly incarcerated people in California, seeking justice for the eugenics practices that disproportionately affected women of color. Women Engaged and our partners are committed to the dignity of incarcerated people and want to push the federal and state governments to pass affirmative legislation to protect people in the state of Georgia and across the nation.
